Eid-Eil-Maolud: Adeyeye Akinson Rejoice with Muslims Ummah, Preach Love, Peaceful Co-existence and Sacrifice.

A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in the State of osun, also the CYMS Patron in the State and the National Secretary of BAT Network Hon. Prince Adeyeye Adeyemi Akinson, has rejoiced with the good People of Obokun, State of Osun and all Nigerians on the celebrations of Eid-Eil-Maolud the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammed, urging for unity and peace to prevail.

In a statement made available to Idealplusgist.com on Sunday, He said the period called for sober reflections.

“I enjoin you to use the period to uphold the spiritual benefit of the celebration by extending a hand of friendship and solidarity across all divides and imbibing the spirit of sacrifice and obedience to the higher authority as exemplified and upheld by Prophet Muhammed.

“Prophet Muhammed is a prophet of peace and he preached the doctrines of peace and love throughout his lifetime . He showcased the understanding for the various faiths and beliefs during his lifetime and he didn't discriminate against any ethnic, race and humanity".

‘‘We must learn to see ourselves as brothers and sisters from the same heritage, who must come to terms with the African proverb that ‘‘a family tie is like a tree, it can bend but it cannot break.’’ Adeyeye Akinson Said.

“This is an opportunity for us to reflect and pray for our nation and State of Osun; pray for our dear President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola, for God’s guidance and good health and pray for all those in leadership positions so that God in his infinite mercy will continue to guide them as they steer the affairs of the country,” Adeyeye Akinson Said.
