The activities of the Honourable Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Affairs, Osun State, for the Week ended.

Her activities this week started with a familiarization tour to some of the correctional centers of the ministry across the State where she charged staff members to work consciously and conscientiously.

Apart from the regular day to day activities, she received a number of politicians and sociopolitical groups in the State who paid her courtesy visits and looked forward to partnership and collaborations with the Ministry.

She attended the Executive Council meeting and was also present as a matter of duty at the State House of Assembly for the presentation of the year 2020 budget tagged 'The Budget of Restoration'.

She also held management meeting with top echelon of the ministry to discuss the 2020 estimated budget for the ministry.

As part of the efforts of the State Government of Osun to see to the welfare of women and children in the State. The commissioner looked into the case of a destitute Woman and her children who were wandering at Gbongan in the State of Osun, proactive steps have been taken to relieve her by the State.

The Honourable Commissioner joined the Governor of the State, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola and other political stalwarts at Boripe Local Government to receive over 225 decampees from various parties into the All Progressives Congress.
