Honourable Commissioner participated in the walk to greatness program organized to commemorate the 1st year in office of Mr. Governor. She attended the lecture and prayer session organized by the Joint Muslim Action Group in honour of the Governor. She was also a part of the novelty match between the Executive Council members and members of the State Legislature to Mark the Governor's 1st year anniversary.
She attended the prayer session organized for the Governor at the Government House, Oke fia. The ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs Commissioner attended the public lecture & awards program organised by the office of the head of service to the state government where the ministry presented an artwork and a card gift to the Governor.
The Honourable Commissioner joined the First Lady of the State, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola, the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Engr. Solagbade Oladepo and other government Officials at the flag off program for the presentation of Clean Gas Stoves to the women in the State organized by Ministry of Environment and Sanitation in collaboration with the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs.
She attended the National Cash Transfer stakeholders' meeting which was aimed at evaluating the impact of the program on women who fall into the bracket of the poorest of the poor in our communities.
Barr. Olaboopo paid an unscheduled visit to the Moremi Creche which is the ministry's daycare centre. She was a guest at OSBC on the program "Ojuse Obinrin" where she spoke on the contributions of the Governor in the last 1 year to the cause, upliftment and welfare of women in the state.
In company of the ministry's permanent secretary and directors, she went for a Pre-Budget defense at the State House of Assemby. She had a robust meeting and deliberation with the state O' widows imploring them to support the government and shun all divisive tendencies.
