The basis for which this proposal was made by the last administration led by Com Oyewumi Afeez Abiodun P.K.A HABBEY LEE and the effort of which was intensified by the current administration led by Com Azeez Olakunle Dinho is to bridge the financial constraints hindering the academic pursuits of our members and the generalities of Apomu students in their various citadels of leaning. After thorough investigations on the lists sent for approval by the current administration and the moderation of the modalities set in lace to quicken the payment of the bursary by the Local Government, it gladdens our heart as the Chairman of the Local Government approves the payment of bursary, the program of which Alhaji Abdul Fatai Abeeb Yuppy and Chief Ademola Opadola were the only Chairmen of the local government to have done this program since the creation of Isokan Local Government area.
In order to strengthen the academic excellence of our younger ones, it's necessary we build in place a proactive measure making their academic exploits a remarkable channel that would solidify the legacy of our dear town because these generations are the future of Apomu land. Hence, the need to make the dividends of democracy to be extended to them in anyway we are able just for the betterment of Apomu land now and the years to come as quoted by the Chairman, Hon Akeem Badiru Oladeni and the entire cabinet members.
The leadership of the association has extended her acknowledgement to this measure the local government has created for the benefit of the students, charged the local government chairman to make this privilege extended to the subsequent regimes for the effectiveness of the basis the proposal was approved.
