Suing for peace in the party, he also cautioned them against divisive party devoid of discrimination.
Olamiju, who made the appeal on Friday during the distribution of food items, gifts and cash to APC/SDP leaders and members in Obokun Local Government and Obokun East Local Council Development Area (LCDA) at his residence, Esa-Oke, described Governor Adegboyega Oyetola as a very passionate leader who is ready to do whatever it takes to make life more abundant for the citizenry.
While assuring the people of a greater performance next year, the Special Adviser said, "the 2020 budgetary plans were predicated on the yearnings of the people, so, I want you all to remain hopeful that 2020 will be a better year".
Meanwhile, the Pharmaceutical doctor, Olamiju has provided food items such as rice, vegetable oil and a cash donation to the party members for the Christmas and New Year celebrations. An undisclosed amount of money, food items and other gifts were packaged for the leaders, local and ward executives in the council.
According to him, "this is not the first time, I have been reaching out to the party leaders and members during every festive period. The difference this year is the incorporation of the SDP extraction because they are one of us".
“Its just our own little way to appreciate the support that they have given us in the past and to make sure that they also believe in the system”.
Thanking the APC/SDP members for their unflinching support, Olamiju maintained that no electoral promise made during the campaigns by Governor Oyetola would go unfulfilled, as he (Governor) remains committed to fulfilling all pledges.
He, however urged the party members to cooperate with the state’s administration led by Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola for it to record more successes and achievements as well as implement more positive programmes for the benefit of the people of the state.
He thanked them, while promising to work hard to justify the position he found himself on the platform of APC.
