In a birthday message to the elder statesman by the Commissioner said the elder statesman made unquantifiable proven leadership contributions to Nigeria’s political development.
"Words will fail us if we continue to speak of Chief Bisi Akande`s achievements, integrity and amazing intentions for Nigerians and the black race. He is worthy of emulation as a political leader and administrator” he said.
According to him “It is a pride for us in the State of Osun that Chief Bisi Akande is celebrated as a living legend throughout the World.
He commended the elder statesman for serving as a beacon of light for Nigerians both at home and in the Diaspora, especially as authentic leadership and integrity are uncommon values in Nigeria and Africa politics.
Akeju further said Chief Akande has consistently demonstrated in his service to the Nigerian state both in government and in the management of political parties.
“I prays that God in His infinite mercy will continue to grant the iconic leader long life in good health”.
