Osun Government Felicitates With The Federal Ministry Of Women Affairs

Osun State Government has felicitated with Her Honour, the Minister for Women Affairs Dame Pauline K. Tallen on the occasion of the commissioning of the new office headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs by His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammad Buhari.

This was contained in a press release issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Affairs, State of Osun, Barr. Olubukola Olaboopo.

 The Commissioner noted that the magnificent edifice was erected despite the paucity of funds which the federal government faces. She reiterated that this goes a long way in indicating the commitment of the Federal Government to the protection of the interest and general well being of women in the country.

While noting that the government of the State of Osun displays a high sense of commitment to women concerns, she charged other States to tow this path.

She appealed to Nigerian  women to continue to support the government emphasising that only through this can they enjoy the dividend of democracy.
