The United States of America has commended the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola over its commitment to revitalise the State's health sector.
The US government who described Osun as one of the few governments in Nigeria that had recorded unprecedented success in the implementation of Health Insurance Scheme, reiterated its readiness to partner the state in its efforts to rejuvenating its economy.
This is even as Governor Oyetola reeled out the investment opportunities for partnership across critical sectors of the State, which he described as key growth drivers.
Speaking during a courtesy visit on the governor on Monday, the Consul General of the US Consulate in Lagos, Ms. Claire Pierangelo, said the US was committed to strengthening the investment ties between it and Osun.
Oyetola Signs State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Bill into Law

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Friday, signed into law the State's Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps Establishment Bill. The bill was transmitted to the governor by the Speaker of the State Assembly, Timothy Owoeye, on Thursday evening.
Oyetola while signing the Bill, disclosed that the law signifies a declaration of war on criminals in the state and its environs, adding that the State "is prepared to go to any legitimate length to ensure that criminals in the state have no breathing space."
He expressed confidence that the law would further enhance the profile of Osun as the most peaceful state and preferred investment destination in the country.
Osun: Media Practitioners Pledge Support to Govt
The Online Media Practitioners in Osun State have lauded the Governor Adegboyega Oyetola-led administration for running a people-centric government and its commitment to infrastructure development of the State.
Led by their Chairman, Jare Tiamiyu, the online media practitioners paid a courtesy call on the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Ismail Omipidan at his office inside the Government Secretariat, Abere, Osogbo on Thursday.
Tiamiyu said that the purpose of the visit was to consolidate a working relationship with the CPS office. He commended the Governor's media aide for his leadership qualities and his strategic roles in effectively communicating and promoting the activities of the Governor and the State government.
Ilesa Water project: Oyetola inaugurates 8-man project monitoring committee

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has reiterated his administration's determination to ensure adequate provision of portable water supply to every household in the State.
The governor stated this while inaugurating an 8-man Project Monitoring Committee on the ongoing construction of Ilesa water project, at the State Ministry of Water Resources and Energy, Government Secretariat, Abere, Osogbo.
Represented by the State Commissioner for Water Resources & Energy, Mr Amidu Tadese Raheem, Oyetola said the Committee was set up to ensure quick completion of the project within the stipulated time.
Osun Governor commends TAMPAN, expresses readiness to partner association on culture, tourism
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has commended members of the Theatre Arts and Non Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) for promoting positive values and Yoruba's culture and tradition through their movies. .
The governor gave the commendation on Wednesday when members of the association led by their President, Otunba Bolaji Amusan (Mr. Latin), paid him a courtesy visit at his office at Abere, Osogbo.
Governor Oyetola who said he is a big fan of Yoruba entertainers, expressed delight at hosting top echelon of TAMPAN at his office, describing their films as educative, inspiring, entertaining and showcasing the deep cultural heritage and traditions of the Yoruba race.

The leadership of the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) on Tuesday, said with the review of some education policies in the State of Osun, the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has given education a rebirth.
IPAC commended the State government for demonstrating high sense of commitment and courage to rejig some policies in the state's education system.
The Chairman of the Committee, Pastor Olatunji Popoola, who stated this during a courtesy call on the governor at his office in Abere, Osogbo maintained that the action was in fulfilment of Governor Oyetola's pledge to run a participatory and all-inclusive government. He noted that the governor had renewed and re-registered his acceptance and support in the minds of the citizens.
U.S. Govt to partner Osun on Tourism Development
The Government of the United States of America through its Consulate in Lagos has expressed its readiness to partner with the government of the State of Osun to develop the State's tourism sector.
The Consular General of the US Consulate in Lagos, Ms Claire Pierangelo said this on Tuesday when she and her team visited the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) certified Osun Osogbo Groove situated in the heart of the state capital.
Pierangelo who was conducted round the Groove by the State's Commissioner for Tourism and Culture, Dr Adebisi Obawale, was marvelled by the trends of cultural displays at the groove, ranging from the history of Osogbo as narrated by the Osun Osogbo Groove Curator, Mr Fatai, to the cultural dance and Sango (God of thunder) display by the Osun Cultural Troupe.
