THE COMMISSIONER, MINISTRY Of WOMEN , CHILDREN AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS FELIClATES WITH MRS KAFAYAT OYETOLA
The Commissioner, Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs, Barrister Olubukola Olaboopo has felicitated with the First Lady of the State of Osun, Her Excellency, Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola on the celebration of her 60th birthday and her 37th wedding anniversary.
In a state signed by the Media Aide to the Honourable Commissioner, she
described her as a woman of substance who is committed to the plight of people especially the vulnerable and the less privileged irrespective of affiliations.
She highlighted some of the achievements and efforts of Mrs.Oyetola at ensuring that Women in the State are economically empowered and comfortable. She explained that the First Lady has touched several lives through the provision of free of charge medical surgeries to the needy. She reiterated that "hundreds of patients with various ailments were provided with free medical service and women farmers empowered. She mentioned that the First Lady is a passionate crusader against harmful practices of female genital mutilation, open defecations and other campaigns bothering on the welfare of the State''.
She wishes her a very many happy and prosperous years to come on behalf of all women and children in the State.
