In a statement signed by the group's Public Relations Officer Comrade (Prince) Kunle Oyediran, the group sees the need to help cushion the effect of certain developments since the outbreak and penetration of Corona Virus into the country. "The unfortunate penetration of the COVID-19 into our dear state has necessitated some restrictions and infractions on our lifestyle which would make life quite difficult for us all.
Fortunately, the Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola led Government of Osun State and the Federal Government working together have taken laudable steps to ensure that the effect of this sad development is eased up.
The statement further reads "arising from this OYE 4 OSUN Sociopolitical after due deliberations, endorsed the move by it's Coordinator Alhaja Fauziat Olaniyan, to support the government's effort by giving out cash sums to support her members (OYE 4 OSUN Foot soldiers) in the state to take care of their immediate family.
We enjoin all well meaning Osun Indigenes to do all within their capacity to help the state overcome this challenge, even as we implore all citizens to obey the directives of the government to enable our efforts produce positive results."
