In a congratulatory statement made available to the newsmen in Osogbo on Sunday 17th of May, 2020, he described Comrade Amitolu Shittu appointment as a round peg in round hole and deserved one.
According to Kamarudeen, "You are Rare Gem to Osogbo, State of Osun and Nigeria at large, I feel particularly elated of the State Government's of Osun wise choice of your person as the Director General of a novel security outfit that has clear objective of societal cleansing at this particular period of gross moral degeneration and pervasive criminal tendencies."
"As a man of courage and valour, transparent, uniqueness and openness in our community, the entire state of osun will definitely tap from the fountain of your wisdom as the state of Osun is in save hand with your appointment as the Director General of Osun Amotekun Corps." Kamarudeen Said.
He urge Comrade Amitolu Shittu not to disappoint the confidence reposed in him with his appointment by the State of Osun Governor Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola.
He advised the newly appointed Director General of Amotekun not to relent in his quest to save the state from criminals.
He also applauded the governor of the state Mr. Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola for appointing no nonsense Comrade, Freedom Fighter and the lovers of the masses as Osun Amotekun DG.
He wishes the governor a thriving tenure of office and the newly appointed Osun Amotekun Director General.
