Osun SDP, Distributes Palliative to Members

The State of Osun Social Democratic Party under the leadership of Dr. Sola Oladeinde, has distributed palliative to the nook and crannies of the state.

The party disclosed that the palliative gesture is a way of cushioning the effect on coronavirus and ramadan and an effort to alleviate the food supply shortage which vulnerable in the society may be facing as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic lockdown.

The party stated that the lockdown and curfew is necessary to avoid a spread of the highly contagious disease urging the people to obey government directives and desist from going out in the evening, the party assured citizens that end of the COVID-19 pandemic is near.

The party has graciously distributed bags of beans worth of millions of Naira across the state.

In their separate reactions the members of the party expressed appreciation to the leadership of the party for deeming it fit to ameliorate the hardship of the citizens of the state.

The Chairman of chairmen of all local chapters of the party, Hon. Adebisi also thanked the leadership of the party for the good gesture, According to Adebisi, "it would go a long way in soothing the nerves of members of the party."

In his response the state Chairman of the party, Dr. Sola Oladeinde, while addressing the party chairmen in all the local governments in the state, admonished them to be more faithful and loyal to the party.

He also encouraged them to ensure that the palliative goes to the grassroots.

The Chairman also advised members of the party and the citizens to adhere strictly to the social distancing as preached by the government and the NCDC in the same vein, the Chairman also thanked the leadership of the party for their support all the time, most especially Otunba Iyiola Omisore, Dr. Yemi Farombi, Alhaji Jelili Adesiyan, Hon Ayotunde Olowofoyeku, Hon. Bashorun Yekini Omisore, Mrs Comfort Ale (Gbengbele) and our Commissioner Representatives in the Coalitions Government Hon. Taiwo Akeju and Hon Yemi Lawal and also the South West chairman of the party, Hon. Bade Falade.

The Chairman as well advise the political office holders, who are members of the party to continue to be good ambassadors of the party in the coalition government.

He also commended them on their efforts in supporting the party.
