The member representing Irepodun/ Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olubukola Oyewo has congratulated the new appointees of the State Government Of Osun.
In a statement signed by his media Office, the lawmaker felicitated with the new appointees, and expressed optimism that they would do the state and indeed the nation proud.
Meanwhile Governor Oyetola had earlier appointed a foremost human rights activist who is also the Osun State Chairman of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Comrade Amitolu Shittu as the Director-General of Amotekun Corps, Mr Richard Tinubu, a development consultant as the Director-General of the Bureau of Social Services (BOSS), and the recent appointees in to the Board of various Local Government Education Authority
Oyewo described their appointments as well deserved and befitting ones considering their experiences and expertise. He remarked that, “On behalf of my family and the good people my constituency, I wish to rejoice with all for being found worthy by Mr. Governor to join him in the transformation of the State. This is indeed case of round pegs in round holes. This gladdens my hearts, as it is a big plus for our state, considering your various expertise, sound backgrounds in the state and your track records of service to the state of Osun and Nigeria in general."
He then enjoined the new appointees to see the new task as a challenge to make more remarkable impacts both in their various assignments and other fields of human endeavors by deploying their vast experiences, network and depth of knowledge to reposition their various sectors in line with Governor Gboyega Oyetola's ‘Next Level’ agenda.
Oyewo also lauded the Governor for recommending to the Federal Government the duo of Barr Adeoye Abdurasaq Olalekan as a Federal Character Commissioner, Pharmacist Oladele Semiu Gboyega as a Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission(RMAFC) Commissioner.
