It was encomiums galore today in Ikirun, Ifelodun local government area of the state of Osun, when a woman, Mrs. Modinat Ismaila, who had been declared missing, was reunited with her family, after four days.
Modinat, who was likely to have been a victim of kidnap for ritual, was accosted by men of Amotekun corps in Osogbo, while roaming about the street aimlessly.
The woman, whose communication was incoherent, told Amotekun media team her name and that of her husband, but could not explain her mission as at the time she was found late last night.
Members of the family, who could not hide their joy, told men of Amotekun corps, state of Osun, that they had been looking for Mrs Modinat for four days.
Because it was too late last night, Amotekun corps provided her with shelter till this morning, when she was taken to the palace of Baale Onibueja, in Ikirun; where she was handed over to her family members.
The Head of the family, Chief Opeyemi Fabiyi, appreciated the Amotekun Corps for reuniting the missing woman with her family; adding that the family had even organized prayers for a safe return of Mrs Modinat Ismaila.
Also speaking, her father in-law, Prof. Fabiyi, particularly appreciated the Amotekun team, for a job well done; even as he thanked Governor ADEGBOYEGA OYETOLA for appointing the caliber of Comrade Amitolu Shittu, to head the state owned security outfit, while praying for the success of the DG and Amotekun at all times
