Ministry Of Women Affairs Commiserates With Families Of Demised Party Stalwarts.

The Ministry of Women , Children and Social Affairs has suspended all her lined up programs for this week. This is following the occurrence of the death of Mr. Mikhail Adejare Adebisi,  and Hon. Quadri Owonikoko who until their deaths were the Deputy Chief of Staff (general administration) and the chairman, Olorunda LCDA respectively.

The suspension of programs and activities was contained in a release signed by the Media aide to the Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry. The release mentioned that the step is to honour and mourn these great souls who left unannounced.

Barr. Olaboopo described the deceased persons as few in a zillion in the fold of the progressives reiterating that their death which occurred within 3days is a blow too heavy to bear by their families, associates, the Party and indeed the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

The release stated that few of the suspended programs include the launching of the State's Women Clinic, the commemoration of the Day of the African Child and activities aimed at tackling rape and gender based violence.
She prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed.
