Osun Water Resources Commissioner, Special Adviser, Charge Staff On Dedication To Duty

The State of Osun Commissioner for Water Resources and Energy, Dr. Amidu Tadese Raheem and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Water Resources and Energy, Engr. Ibitoye Felix Adeniran have charged Staff of the Osun State Water Corporation to  be diligent and committed to their work at all times.

The duo gave the message during an unscheduled inspection to Ede Water Works around 7.00pm. The visit was designed to discover what actually operates at such period when supervision was almost nil.

The duo were impressed with the number of Staff they met on ground. The Honourable Commissioner urged Corporation Staff to be dedicated, punctual and committed to their work. They were encouraged  to keep up the good work and see the job as their personal assignments.

However, both Honourable Commissioner and the Special Adviser expressed their displeasure about the weedy environment and total black out of New Ede Head Works. They stressed that the inspection embarked upon by them will continue from time to time.

They promised that the Administration of Mr Adegboyega Oyetola will find a solution to the epileptic power supply in the area, urging the staff to cultivate the habit of cleanliness.


In his response, Engr.Tijani Adekilekun who heads Ede water works thanked the duo for the visit and promised on behalf of all the staff that they will be more committed to their work at all times, saying that all observations and suggestions will be implemented.

On the entourage was the General Manager, Osun State Water Corporation, Engr. Ademola Fatola.
