Atitebi urged Muslims faithful to use the advantage of the spirituality of this period to offer special prayers for the whole world to overcome the challenges of the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic disease.
According to him, "As we all know that this is a period of sober reflection, renewal of faith and expression of thanksgiving to the Almighty Allah for seeing this year Eid-eil-kabir festival in good health, special privileged citizens in the society should endeavors to extend their kind gestures to the needy and less privileged people in the society".
"Muslims and believers of other religions should redouble their praying efforts and use the advantage of the celebration to offer special prayers to curb the scourge of the coronavirus pandemic for the world to get over it.
He urged the Muslims faithful to accept the situations of things this time around with good faith as their will not be two rakat prayer that the Muslims used to observe during this year Eid-eil-kabir festival at Eid has Christian's also faced the same thing during Easter.
He also commended the Amotekun Security outfit, Security Men, Royal Fathers, Muslim Cleric, Pastors, Babaloja and Iyalojas and all the residents of the state for their compliance with the government directives against the spread of the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
He also used this Occasion to Congratulates all the political appointees from State Level to Federal Level, he urge them not to disappoint the governor Gboyega Oyetola and the people. He wish them a successful tenure of Office.
