In a press statement made available to newsmen this morning, the topnotch Business Man described Eid-eil-kabir as a rare celebration which Muslims all over the world are always looking forward to because of abundant blessings deposited in the period with climbing of Arafat to seek the favor of Allah and the slaughter of Ram as Sacrifice.
Akinson noted that Eid-eil-kabir also offers Islamic adherents a chance to be closer to Allah and to perfect their deeds before the Almighty Allah.
According to Adeyeye Akinson, "this year's Eid-eil-kabir is a very special and challenging one as a result of the global pandemic ravaging the whole world but noted that this trying time has its lessons such as sacrifice, love for one's neighbours, self- restrain and perseverance which were few of the significance of this period.
He, however, urged Muslims to use this period to pray to Allah for His defined intervention in order to put an end to coronavirus outbreak which has practically brought the world on its knees.
In his words, "I enjoin all the people of the State of Osun to CALM DOWN to enjoy the dividends and good governance of His Excellency Governor Gboyega Oyetola".
"I pray that Allah shall accept all our supplications and Ibadah in this glorious period" (Ameen). Akinson Said.
He also Congratulated the newly appointed personality by Governor Gboyega Oyetola as Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants to the Governor, he described their appointment as a round peg in a round hole. He urges not to disappoint the governor, party and the people of the state in exercising their respective duties.
He also appreciate the Governor for Appointing Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye as the Special Adviser on Civic Engagement described the appointment as a round peg in round hole with his experience and contributions in the party.
