We, at first, decided not to reply, as it'll be unwise to engage in fight with a pig, but later considered putting the record straight, especially for those who don't understand the ongoing game.
In the first instance, we're constrained to ask which faction of the PDP is chasing shadow? Is it the one headed by a former half baked local government chairman, who has a case file with the anti graft agency or the other camp of the tattered umbrella?
An inside from one of the camps of the destabilized chapter of the hungry opposition party told us it's from the camp of a wounded lion, whose illegal territory was burst two days ago by Amotekun volunteers.
If that is the case, whichever camp of the PDP in Osun involved in this should know that Amitolu Shittu has never compromised and would never compromise, no matter the level of pressures or conspiracies.
In the second instance, what locus standi has a party like PDP that fielded a school cert dropout as its gubernatorial candidate in a state like Osun, to challenge the appointment of a man who is not only vast in understanding the terrain, but also has the wherewithal to provide community security for his people?
It's a shame on PDP that has become terribly divided because of the 2022 game to focus on the security outfit that has become a toast of its peers in other States of the region and beyond.
Instead of retracing its step on many ill advised decisions it has taken, including snatching the party's 'mace' and keeping it in the same town that is eyeing the party governorship ticket in 2022.
What a greedy set of people?
If any camp is dreaming of having Amotekun on its side, to be used as a tool for election rigging in 2022, such a camp should have a rethink.
If anybody within any of the PDP factions in Osun is engaging in any form of illegality/Criminality, he should better change from his ways, rather than expecting Amotekun to give in.
If the recent operation by Amotekun corps was the bone of contention, they should always expect more unpleasant surprises, as the security outfit has come to stay for good to instill sanity and restore and protect the economic sanctity of the state of Osun.
Lastly, since the case instituted by a faction of the same tattered umbrella is still before a Court of competent jurisdiction, why on earth is PDP is committing contempt of court, being the plaintiff in the case.
Shame on PDP!
