Oladepo in his congratulatory message made available to the press thanked Allah for granting the world the opportunity to witness another Eid celebration despite the ravaging coronavirus pandemic.
The Osogbo born politician also lauded Nigerians for putting up what he described as enviable act of sacrifice and strength to ward off the ravaging menace which has affected lives and businesses all over the world.
"While government officials are restless in the Fight against Covid-19, Nigerians with her communal life style has however demonstrated unmatched spirit of patriotism, perseverance and courage to limit the spread of the dreaded virus.
Oladepo added that the Eid el Kabir celebration is a reminder that after travails comes victory. He maintained that just has Allah made Prophet Ibraheem and his household to smile after the public test of sacrificing his only son, Ismael. He believes that the same God would make Osun State and the rest of the world to come out stronger from the ravaging pandemic.
The Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation enjoined visitors and citizens in the State of Osun to obeserve the covid-19 safety protocols during this year's Salah celebration.
Our Environmental Sanitation officers and the waste collectors (PSP) would be going round the state to collect waste" the statement added.
"I wished our Muslims brothers and sisters a happy and safe Eid celebration" the statement concluded.
