Olaiya an accountant and businessman is contesting under the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) where he is a registered member of ward 12 of Osogbo local council area.
In a press release made available to the newsmen in Osogbo the capital city of Osun State signed by his campaign manager, Mr. Ibikunle Olawale popularly known as Agba Radio, said that the cardinal programmes of olaiya's administration will include Upgrade of existing infrastructures and provision of additional ones, excellent health care, improvement on the internally Generated Revenue of the council and better welfare for the people of the local government area.
He said that the local council requires purposeful leader with entrepreneurial background to catapult it into becoming the most outstanding in the entire state, stressing that it can only be achieved with the support of the people and by harnessing the potentials.
Ibikunle also made it known that Osogbo Prime Council needs a visionary servant leader who will represent the yearnings and aspirations of the people and the communities in the Council Area. He described him as someone who puts people before politics, with a clear vision for the future of the local government and its people, a man who brings real life experience from business and community roles.
In his words, "Olaiya personified the aspirations and positive changes that the people of Osogbo prime council are yearning for and this is why Olaiya has offered himself as a servant to his people.
Ibikunle further assured the people of Osogbo Prime Council that Olaiya will be available to listen to their concerns, explore innovatives solutions and seek opportunities to deliver optimal democratic gains at all times.
He stressed that if Olaiya is voted into office he will work for the progress, prosperity and overall development of the people of the local council. Olaiya is committed to promoting the good of our people through real transformation in our wards and town. Olaiya pledge to preserve the dignity of every Osogbo prime council native. He will make the people a priority and focus of his administration, Ibikunle added.
Ibikunle further emphasised that the aspirant would leverage his experience as a long time politician to attract investments to the local governemnt area, this willl create job opportunities thereby stemming unemployment especially amongst the youths to compliment the good works of the performing governor of the State Mr.Adegboyega Oyetola
Olaiya was the Personal Assistant to the former Deputy Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Akintunde Adegboye for 10 years and he has proved to be dedicated to the development of Osogbo.
