Osun Water Commissioner, Special Adviser Inspect Asi/Oyan, Water Works

The Commissioner for Water Resources and Energy, Dr. Amidu Tadese and Special Adviser to the Governor on Water Resources and Energy, Engr. Adeniran Felix Ibitoye have embarked on inspection to assess the level of progress of the on-going rehabilitation works at the Asi/Oyan Water Scheme at Odo-Otin Local Government Area of the State of Osun.

The Commissioner and Special Adviser expressed their joy with the Monarchs and the people of the three Communities who trooped out and joined them to the water dam. They also appreciated them for their collaboration and protection of Government properties in their domains. They then assured the communities that the rehabilitation will improve supply of potable water to the people of Asi, Asaba and Oyan.

The duo thanked the Monarchs for their support to the present administration and assured them that the Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, as a governor with a meek heart, will do all his best to make access to potable water supply a reality at all time to the state.

In their remarks, Monarchs in the areas urged the governor to come to their aid by expanding the water dam situated at Oyan/Asi so that sufficient water will be available to serve the people of Oyan, Asaba, Asi and his environs.

On the entourage were the General Manager, Osun Water Corporation, Engineer Ademola Fatola, Engr. (Mrs.) Dupeola Jokotola, Deputy General Manager of Operations and Production, and Engr. Akinyele Oladejo, Deputy General Manager of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
