The state government of Osun under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola is proactive on Covid-19 and has provided all the necessary materials needed for schools to re-open in Osun. In addition, the Osun SUBEB has commenced training for the primary school headteachers and junior secondary schools principals as master trainers ahead of post covid-19.
The three (3) day training of primary school headteachers and junior Secondary school principals as master trainers commenced across all the nine federal Constituencies of Osun - the ijesa South federal Constituency training is holding at the Ilesa grammar school, ijesa north federal Constituency training at ijebu-ijesa grammar school, Ife federal Constituency training to hold at oduduwa college, Ile-ife, Iwo federal Constituency training to hold at Iwo, while irewole federal Constituency training will be holding at ikire and osogbo federal Constituency training will take place at Osogbo Grammer school, ifelodun federal Constituency is to take place at Akinorun Grammer school, Ila federal Constituency training will hold at Ila -orangun while Ede federal Constituency training will take place in Ede.
The Executive Chairman of Osun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Hon. Israel Ajibola Famurewa, alongside the (Commissioner Technical), Hon Moshood Adekunle Oluawo Moshadek, (Commissioner Services), Hon.Amos Akindiya, Hon Barrister Ayo Olajolo (Member), Hon. Fatoki (Member), and the (Executive secretary) Mr Adeoye Bakare are supervising how the training is being conducted.
