Osun Investment Promotion Agency (OSIPA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce, Industries, Cooperatives and Empowerment held its inaugural meeting on the Ease of Doing Business in the State of Osun on Tuesday 6th Ocotber, 2020. The meeting had in attendance; CEO of OSIPA, Mr Femi Adeniran , the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce, Industries, Cooperatives and Empowerment, Dr Bode Olaonipekun; SSA OSIPA; Directors in the Commerce, Industries, Cooperatives and Empowerment; and Chief Investment Officer, South-West Zone of NIPC. Also present were representatives of NAFDAC, SON, CAC, Ministry of Justice, NASSI, NEPC, Ministry of Human Resources and Capacity Building, Dawn Commission, Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning, OSUCCIMA, OIRS, FIRS, Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, and FIWON.
The meeting extensively deliberated on the composition and selection of members of the Osun Ease of Doing Business Council and Sub-Committees; and as well as the Renewal of Osun Investment Certification. The formal inauguration of the Council will soon be announced while activities has commence for getting the renewal done.
