Pursue your dreams with utmost vigour- Oyetola charges youth

Governor, State Of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has charged youth in the state  and Nigeria  at large to hold on to their dreams and pursue it with necessary strength and seriousness.

Oyetola,  disclosed this in Osogbo on Saturday,  at a book presentation titled " Oju Pon Koko Ma Fo" written in honour of an  octogenarian,  Prince Adeleke Oduola.

The Governor,  who was represented by his Deputy, Benedict Alabi, described Prince Oduola,  whose life was chronicled in the book as an inspiration to the younger generations.

Oyetola stated that  'Oju Pon Koko Ma Fo, Itan Igbe Aye Omo Oba Adeleke  Oduola' written by Aderemi Oduola, one of the children of the octogenarian,  and rendered in a breezy style  with Omoluabi style would be of immense benefit to the Yoruba as a people.

He asserted  that his government  would continue to be committed to the well-being of the people of Osun,  by  giving hope to them to face life challenges squarely  and deliver prosperity to all.

Oyetola , heowever , encouraged the citizens of the state to emulate the lifestyle of Prince Oduola by promoting and adding value to the Yoruba literature for the development of the race.

He said ," The story of Prince Oduola is a lesson to our youth that in the midst of seeming hopelessness and misery, focus, can-do attitude and hope are kernels for attaining the desired end.

" Beyond content of character and deeds is the choice of the indigenous Yoruba Language to tell his story so that his people, especially the youth and posterity, can learn lessons and face the vicissitudes of life with dignity, vigour and candour.

" In him resides the barometer for our youth to find hope and courage in a shattering world which we find ourselves".

In his remarks,  Prince Adeleke Oduola, commended the Governor and other important dignitaries who graced the book presentation for their  support  to make the occasion more eventful.

He also implored young people not to be discouraged by the challenges of life but firmly  hold on to virtues of  hardwork , selfless service and perseverance.
