The leaders and the entire members of sasa Market Oke-baale in state of Osun has applauded the Governor of the State, Mr Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola, Special Adviser on Environment, Hon Rufus Oyegbile, SSA on Commerce and Market development, Hon Okunade Akeem (Samanja) and the Ataoja of Osogboland HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Abidemi Olanipekun (Larooye II) on the commencement of the dredging of Sasa rivers bridge and canals, ahead the raining season to ensure safety of lives and properties of residents and market men and women in the area.

Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, one of the leader in the market who called the attention of the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Commerce and market development, Hon Okunade Akeem (Samanja) and the Special Adviser to the governor on Environment, Hon Rufus Oyegbile to the blockage in the river bridge that can cause any form of calamity that may come up from flooding if action is not taking on it on time. The Special Adviser to the governor, who Swift into action by bringing excavator to dredging of the river to prevent flooding during the rainy season.




In his remarks, the Otun Babaloja of Sasa Market Oke-baale Osogbo Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, appreciated the state government under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for taking proactive step in rescuing them from flooding.

He maintained that they are always in panic whenever the raining season is around, due to what they encounter, but for the quick intervention of the SSA to the Commerce and Market development, Hon Okunade Akeem (Samanja) and the SA on Environment Hon Rufus Oyegbile ahead the rainy season, they are assured that there will be no flooding in the forthcoming raining season.


Alhaji Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe prayed for the successful tenure of Governor Gboyega Oyetola and also promised to garner support for the re-election bid of the second term in office of Governor Oyetola in 2022.
