As Christians around the world celebrate Easter, A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in the State of Osun and An Aspirant in the last house of assembly primary to represent Obokun State Constituency, Hon Adeyeye Adeyemi Akinson, has congratulated the Christians all over the world on the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This was contained in a statement made available to the newsmen today in Osogbo, the State Capital. He applauded Governor Gboyega Oyetola for providing adequate security for the citizens and residents of the state during the Easter period.
According to him, "Let us with all gladsome mind, praise the lord for his kind and his mercies endureth forever. I am grateful for the mercies of God in our life and that of your family.
"The day of Easter reminds us of the new things that have arrived through the Resurrection of the Son of God. Easter reminds us of the fact that we need to be renewed in mind, body, and spirit. Easter reminds us of chastity and renewed vigour and hope.
"We must continue to stand together in peace and unity as one people irrespective of religion or social differences. Let us seize the occasion to be our brothers keeper by reaching out to the less privileged amongst us.
"On behalf of my family, friends, associates and good People of Obokun Local Government, I pray that you and your family receive the immeasurable blessings of Easter on this amazing occasion. May your Easter remain a blessing to your family and friends, I pray that the Lord will bless your family with renewed power and blessings.
