On the occasion of the celebration of the Muslim festival of Eid-el-Fitr across the world, the commissioner for special duties and regional integration, Hon. Olalekan Abdulrahman Badmus, has felicitated with the muslim faithfuls and called on Nigerian to imbibe tolerance and patriotism.
Olalekan Badmus in a statement released by him said “I felicitate with all Nigerians, especially the Muslim Ummah, on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Fitr, which marks the completion of the Ramadan fast”.
“I congratulate Muslims in the State of Osun, Nigeria and around the world on the successful completion of this month-long spiritual journey of fasting, prayer and almsgiving in obedience to the Divine Command” he said.
In his charge to Muslims, Hon Olalekan Badmus called for tolerance and respect in the nation irrespective of tribe, religion and political leanings, in the quest to build a strong and united nation.
He called on the residents of the state to continue their unfliching support and join hands with the people's Governor Gboyega Oyetola administration, for all the residents to have reason to be happy by seeing progressive developmental projects in all nooks and crannies of the state in no distant time. Olalekan Badmus added.
