The Executive Director, Finance and Administration of Ogun-Osun River Water Basin Authority, Prince Dayo Babaranti has, while congratulating Muslims on 2021 Eid-el Fitri celebration, urged adherents of Islamic monotheism to reflect on their 30-day fasts and remain steadfast in their devotion and submission to the will of Allah.
As contained a release issued by the General Secretary of the Osun-based sociopolitical group, Ilerioluwa Vendors, Mr. Jimoh Olorede, Prince Babaranti, who doubles as the Convener and Chief Executive Officer of the organization also urged Muslims to apply modesty as they celebrate year 2021 Eid-el Mubarak.
The Ogun-Osun River Water Basin Authority Director said Muslims denied themselves the pleasure of foods and drinks during hours of the day for thirty days in obedience to the commandments of Allah.
He however advised Islam adherents, as contained in the release, to remain steadfast, warning them never to renege on their promises of living a pious life during and after Ramadan.
Prince Babaranti used the occasion of this celebration to implore residents of the state to stand on their mandate, resolution and support for Oyetola led administration in the state.
According to him, the Governor has never reneged on his 2018 gubernatorial campaign promises as many of them have been fulfilled, urging the people of Osun to reciprocate the Governor's gesture with their continuous supports and a recast of their mandate.
