Aragbiji describes Oyetola as golden fish, says media awards as Nigeria Best Governor confirmatory of his diligence

The eminent Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV* has described Osun State governor, Adegboyega Oyetola as a golden fish whose value and valour in relation to his developmental strides in the state are glaringly noticed.

The monarch's description contained in a congratulatory release issued by his Press Secretary, Jimoh Olorede, eulogized governor Oyetola on his meritorious awards as Best Governor of year 2020 by three prominent Nigerian newspapers.

According to Aragbiji in the release, Oyetola's diligence, technocracy and managerial expertise displayed in his frugal and prudent governance of the state must be main yardsticks used by the managements of _BusinessDay_, _Champion_ and _Blueprint_ newspapers in adjudging him as Nigeria Best Governor.

The monarch said: "It's an amazing paradox that Oyetola, governor of a state, whose revenue allocation is grossly insufficient to address its monthly recurrent expenditure obligations could still emerge as Best Governor in the country.

"While _BusinessDay_ and _The Champion_ newspapers' awards were confirmatory of Oyetola's efficient management of meagre resources accruing to the state's treasury*, the recent _Blueprint_ newspaper's award was corroborative of the earlier awards all in appreciation of Oyetola's good governance as manifested in economy revamping, health rejuvenation, infrastructural overhauling, educational resuscitation and people-friendly policy formulation and implementation, among others."

While praying to God for more wisdom, grace and guidance in his governance of the state, *Oba Olabomi however, urged the governor-awardee to remain steadfast, modest, and never to count on his laurels*, adding he still has a bigger record to break.
