KLM Storms Nigerian Society of Engineers Secretariat (NSE Ikeja Branch) to attend 12th Olu Awoyinfa Public Lecture

The Ikeja Branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) organised her 12th _Olu Awoyinfa Annual Public Lecture_ in grand style. The event, which held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, also also witnessed the induction of new corporate members into the Society.

It is on record that Engr Prince Adeniran Ibitoye Kilomodemo KLM, _FNSE,_ the current Vice President of the Society and Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Water Resources and Energy, and other dignitaries from Osun State attended the Annual Public Lecture in honour and recognition of Late Engr.Olu Awoyinfa.

The Keynote Speaker, Engr Prof. Jeremiah Oludele Ojediran, Vice Chancellor of Bells University, Ota in Ogun State delivered his paper on 'KEY FACTORS TO QUALITATIVE LOCAL CONTENT DEVELOPMENT: EDUCATIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL SYNERGY.'

Engr Ibitoye and selected members of his entourage made their superlative contributions in respect of the evolving issues from the lecture.

Special appreciation goes to Ikeja Branch of our referred association, led by Engr 'Tosin Ogunmola (its Chairman) for the special accolades, encomiums, rousing reception and warm recognition accorded the KLM-led "Team WASOBIA'.

We equally appreciate the Branch for its continued loyalty, support especially in organizing this year's edition of the annual public lecture in honour of the late Engr. Awoyinfa, FNSE, FAEng; and the family. Equally worthy of mention were the Awards of Excellence & Meritorious Service given to distinguished & outstanding professionals in engineering practice and beyond.

The WASOBIA Team from Osun team at the event comprised an array of distinguished personalities. Among them were: Engr Ezekiel Anwo, SSA, BOSS; Engr Saheed Ganiyu Soladoye SA BOSS; members of the Osogbo Branch of NSE, led by its Chairman, Engr Wale Emmanuel Alonge; and Ilesa Branch, led by its Chairman, Engr Mayomi Alege.

We admonished the grace and mercy of God for taking us to this feat in our respective callings and professional attainments.
