The Social Democratic Party, SDP, Osun state chapter has revealed that the party’s door is opened to prospective aspirants to contest political offices.
This according to the Chairman of the party, Sola Oladeinde was disclosed on Monday during Rave FM ,Osogbo Oro Oselu program.
Oladeinde said “SDP will present candidates anytime when it is time for elections, adding that the party’s door remain opened for aspirants.
Oladeinde stressed that SDP remains a strong political platform that can contend with both All Progressives Party,APC, and Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, anytime.
When asked if Otunba Iyiola Omisore ,a governorship candidate of the part in 2018 is still member of SDP, Oladende said the former deputy governor of the state has fully defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress,APC.
He argued that contrary to belief of majority that all SDP members in the state have defected with Omisore to APC, “Only few members moved with him to APC, we still have many members of SDP across the state” Oladeinde said.
