Eid-el-Kabir: Obokun Caretaker Chairman, Ogundipe Felicitates With Muslims

   


As Muslims around the world celebrate this year's Eid-el-Adha, the Caretaker Chairman of Obokun Local Government, Hon Ogundipe Moruf has congratulated the Muslims faithful in Obokun Local Government, State of Osun, across the country and in the Diaspora on the occasion of Eid-el-Adha.


He made this known in a statement made available to the newsmen in Osogbo, the State Capital, described the Eid-el-Adha as a special occasion.


Ogundipe who emphasised the significance of Eid-el-Adha in strengthening the bond that binds humans together, advised all Muslims to embrace the virtues of love, sacrifice, humility and perseverance as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammed and the need for people to observe personal health and safe rules during the celebration.


He therefore charged residents on the need to abide by all Covid-19 safety protocols and guidelines to prevent the spread of the second wave of the virus during the Eid-el-Adha celebration.


He reiterated the commitment of the present administration headed by Governor Gboyega Oyetola to work tirelessly towards the progress of the state and the wellbeing of the people, especially the less privileged.


While wishing the good people of Obokun Local Government, state of Osun and indeed all Nigerians a happy Eid-el-Adha celebration, Ogundipe charged residents and especially Muslims to use the opportunity of the occasion to engage in more prayers and also in acts of love, especially by reaching out to the less privileged.


He wish all Muslims Allah's blessings, guidance and protection during this period of Eid-el-Adha celebration and after.
