The Osun Western Security Network Agency coded as "Amotekun Corps" in a joint patrol operation with Ondo Amotekun Corps has rescued the accident victims which involved two vehicles around Alape Area Gbongan express road.
According to information gathered, the accident occurred at 11:20 pm on Thursday 24, December, 2021in Alape Area Gbongan express way, it involved two vehicles Golf 2 car, Ash color with the registration number Lagos SMK 591 AG comprised of unknown policemen and 2018P Toyota Bumper which the registration number Osun GNN 177 KD, white color, comprised driver with no passengers which collided as a result of high speed.
The Amotekun who are on patrol got to the scene of the crash within five minutes it got the information about the incident.
The accident was suspected to be as a result of speeding which led to loss of control by the driver of the two vehicles, the driver of the golf car and one passenger inside were reportedly dead in the process and the Bus driver sustain various degrees of injuries ranging from fractures, bruises and cuts.
The Amotekun personnel and the Federal Road Safety Corp took the injured driver to hospital for proper medical attention, while the deceased body was deposited at the morgue.
