The State of Osun Special Adviser to Governor Oyetola on Works and Transport, Engr Olatoke Hussein Olaniyan has donated tables and chairs to Alma Mater, Local Authority Primary School 1 Popo Iragbiji, he handover the furniture during the annual celebration of Popo Youth Forum Carnival, the handover was witnessed by Aragbiji of Iragbiji, HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi.
While presenting the donation today, said giving back to the school that produced him was a thing of joy.
He said the presentation of the furniture was part of his contributions to assist the giant strides of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in developing education in the State.
He said since government could not do the work alone, it was the responsibility of everyone to contribute to make things much better for one's Alma mater.
"It is actually a thanksgiving day for everyone of us today because it is neither by our strength nor our wisdom that we are present here.
"As old student of this school, knowing what the school has positively impacted into our lives, I will continue to give back to the school. And that is the essence of this particular gathering.
He urged members of Popo Youth Forum to continue to strive to move the town forward and the youth should join politics in order to contribute more to the society. He also enjoined the members of the forum to work in oneness towards achieving the aims and objectives of the association.
He also urged the youths in the State to start mobilizing support for the second term ambition of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Recalled that Hon Olatoke Hussein Olaniyan, about three weeks ago distributed over 30 bags of rice to churches, wards, chiefs and vulnerable in Iragbiji, he also presented a brand new Bajaj motorcycle to a youth in the town and fuel over 100 commercial vehicles drawn from NURTW and RTEAN in Iragbiji in his quest to support the governance of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
In his encomium, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi commended Governor Gboyega Oyetola for his wonderful job is doing in the State.
He also applauded the Special Adviser to governor on Works and Transport, Engr Olatoke Hussein Olaniyan, for his contributions to the development and progress of Iragbiji and it's environs.
They later commissioned Local Authority Primary School 1 Sign post build by Popo Youth Forum and Digital description sign post.
The occasion, which was graced by Aragbiji of Iragbiji HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi, SSA Omeal Alhaja Fausiat Olaniyan, Mrs Olaniyan the wife of the Special Adviser, Mr Bamigbegbin Isaac and other numerous to mention.
