A member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Osogbo State Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Public Works and Transport, Hon Engr Badamasi Olatunde Taofeek, has congratulated the road users, residents, motorist and commuters on the opening for usage of the newly completed iconic flyover at Olaiya, Osogbo, by Governor Gboyega Oyetola after months of closure of the multi-links city road.
In a congratulatory statement issued and made available to the newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital, described Governor Oyetola as a prudent governor, who manage the resources of the state despite the paucity of funds.
He applauded the governor for his swift response to alleviate traffic hurdles, improve the infrastructural development and quest to safety, that primarily informed the construction of the bridge at the material time it was conceptualised.
He also commended the governor for his prudent and efficient management of the state resources out of which he was able to build the overpass for public utility, ease of road users, traffic decongestion, accident prevention and general road safety, among other benefits of the flyover.
He urged residents to continue to support him, in his bid to take the state to greater heights.
He therefore advised the residents to take precautions and comply with the traffic rules while plying the bridge, just as he urged them to continue to support the Governor in his efforts to take the state to the greater heights and vote him in the coming July 16 gubernatorial election.
