The Social Democratic Party in Osun State will hold their governorship primary election tomorrow March 12 at the NULGE EVENT HALL Olosan Junction, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo.
In a statement released by the State Chairman of the party, Dr Sola Oladeinde, he said all is set for the primary election with four aspirants jostling to fight for the party flagbearer in the July 16th governorship election in the state, Among the contestants are Hon. Rasaq Taiwo Adejumo, the former councilor in Odo-Otin LG that won the election on the platform of SDP in the 3rd republic and Chairman of Odo-Otin LG during Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola tenure in the state. Also we have Architect Goke Omigbodun a Rev. and Proprietor of a school in Osogbo, notable among them is an Educationist and business guru in Osogbo, Dr Gbenga Afeni and Motor dealer from Ede LG and Mr Ajao Abdulwaheed Ayo, the primary will be conducted by the Electoral umpire from the National Headquarters of the party while INEC and other security agents will be present.
Dr Sola Oladeinde promise that the primary election will be free and fair.
He thank the national leadership of the party for their efforts to support the party in the state.
