The Osun State Government has reaffirmed readiness to continue their developmental projects for market across the state.
This was disclosed on Wednesday during the unveiling of 5days Market days of Sasa Market Oke-Baale Osogbo, where the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Co-operatives and Empowerment, Mrs Kehinde Adeniran represent the Governor Gboyega Oyetola and Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Co-operatives and Empowerment Dr Bode Olaonipekun at the occasion, said she was impressed by the turnout of market men and women in the market, adding that the turnout was a testimony to the performance of the government of the state in developing market and loan and grant assistance rendered to the market men and women in the state, she also made it known that one of the core agenda of the present government under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola is to develop the market in the state.
In her address, "I welcome you all to the unveiling of Sasa International Market 5days market days, the turnout seen here today shows that the developmental projects of market in the state is yielding a good result, the government of the state is doing everything to grow the economy of the state.
"One of the cardinal point of the present administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola is to develop the market in the state and to make the market more conducive and attractive for the market market men and women and the buyers."
She urged the market men and women in the state to continue their unflinching support towards the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in making life meaningful for the residents of the state.
The Chairman of Osogbo Local Government, Hon Saheed Onibonokuta, applauded the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for taking good care of market in the state and given out loan and grant to market men and women in the state in order to boost their businesses, he commended the Sasa Market Chiefs for supporting the council always and for contributing to the progress and development of the market. He urged people to vote for Governor Gboyega Oyetola come July 16th for another term in office so as to take the state to a greater heights in no distant time.
