HoR Aspirant, Gbadamosi, Faults Primary Election

A House of Representatives aspirant in Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo-Otin Federal Constituency in Osun State under the auspices of the All Progressives Congress, Hon Gbadamosi Omotayo Fatai, has faulted  the conduct of the party primaries held few days ago in his constituency.

The aspiring lawmaker stated that the exercise was characterized by large scale irregularities as some of his own votes in different wards were neither counted nor recorded.

He disclosed that his constituency was pervaded by violence, shooting of guns, non-accreditation of voters and beating of some members of the party who had to flee the voting centres in order to save their lives.

Gbadamosi explained further that despite the fact that voting did not take place in some wards, fake election results were generated of which his Ifelodun ward three was a typical example.

The aspirant hinted that the development was not good enough for the image of the party especially when the governorship election is knocking.

Gbadamosi advised that something urgent should be done by the state leadership of the party to redress the political anomaly.

He pleaded with his followers and supporters to remain calm as talks are ongoing at the appropriate quarters with a view to assuage the ugly development.

Gbadamosi also enjoined his followers and supporters to continue to work assiduously for the re-election project of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in the July 16, 2022 governorship election in Osun State.

The House of Representatives aspirant who pledged his total commitment to the continuity of the progressive administration in Osun State stated that nothing would deter him from doing otherwise.

He promised to continue to aid Oyetola's re-election project with all his God-given endowments in all ramifications.
