The residents of Odo-Agbala in Ibokun, Obokun Local Government of Osun State who were affected by thunderstorm has seek for the intervention and assistance of the state government of Osun under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola on the thunder that destroyed their properties worth millions of Naira in the town on Sunday.
Our correspondent gathered that the thunder on Sunday affected many houses in the town.
When speaking to our correspondent, the APC Chieftain and Chairman Ibokun Day 2022 Celebration, Hon Prince Adeyeye Adeyemi Akinson seek the intervention of the state government of Osun to the victims of the thunderstorm.
According to him, "I want to use this opportunity to draw the attention of the state government of Osun under the leadership of the people's Governor Gboyega Oyetola to the incident of thunderstorms that occurred in Odo-Agbala Area, Ibokun on Sunday which affected many houses in the area and destroyed properties worth millions of Naira, the government of the state should try as a matter of urgency to address the issue, what the affected victims are seeking for presently is government intervention, because what happened to them is not what they are ready for."
"The residents of the area lost so many things. We need help and assistance from government and good Samaritans for them to be able to return to normal life." He said.
