Osun Lawmaker, Taofeek Badamasi, Condoles With Omidiran's family over demise of Asiwaju Hammed Omidiran


Osun lawmaker representing Osogbo State Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Public Works and Transport, Hon Engr Taofeek Olatunde Badamasi has sent condolences to Omidiran's family of Osogbo over the passage of a philanthropist and a business mogul, Asiwaju Hammed Omidiran.


Alhaji Omidiran reportedly died on Sunday, June 19, 2022 after a protracted illness at the age of 95.


Condoling with Omidiran's family, the people of Osogbo and Osun State in general, in a statement by his media  office, told them to take solace in the fact that Baba Omidiran lived a good life during which he contributed invaluably to the course of humanity.


According to him, "We received the news of the demise of our beloved father with sadness, but we are consoled by the fact that he lived a life of dedicated service to humanity.


"Asiwaju Omidiran was a strong pillar in Osogbo, a disciplinarian, philanthropist and a devout Muslim and would be missed by all those whose lives he affected in positive ways.


"We share in your sorrow and pains at this period and we pray that God will grant the family, Osogbo and Osun State the courage to bear the loss, as we also pray for the repose of the soul of the departed.


"On behalf of my family and associates, I mourn with the passage of our beloved father," Badamasi said.
