A social-political group loyal to the re-election of Governor Gboyega Oyetola, Osun Ajose Foundation, has launched a neighborhood campaign tagged "LET THE GOOD GOVERNANCE CONTINUE IN STATE OF OSUN" to support the All Progressive Congress(APC) gubernatorial candidate for Osun State, Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Speaking at the Door-to-Door campaign launching in Osogbo, the Director-General of the group, Hon Moruf Adekunle (M.I Eleja), said the group was a social-political group that cut across the grassroots level in the State of Osun that wanted the people of the state to continue enjoying the good governance brought by Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
"In the words of Moruf, "Continuity is the best form of governance for good development and betterment of the people" we are in support of Oyetola for reelection because of his good antecedents in the last three and half years.
"What we are concerned with is that Osun people should benefit more from an enabling environment that has been created by Governor Gboyega Oyetola and APC government, with these, the people of State of Osun should support and vote for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola enmass to emerge as Governor for the second term.
On how the ground intends to achieve its aims, Moruf stated that " Our strategy is that members of our group should be able to reach out to at least 1,000,000 million people in the State of Osun to promote the achievement of governor Gboyega Oyetola within three and half years.
This door-to-door campaign train will cut across all the major towns and villages in the state by preaching the achievement of Mr. Governor to the people from house to house, room to room, street to street, and town to town with these will be able to reach all the local governments and by extension all the three senatorial districts in the state.
The door-to-door campaign has reached, Osogbo, Olorunda, Ikirun, Iragbiji, Iree, Ila, Ifon, Ilobu, Otan, Ikire, Apomu, Ikoyi, Gbongan, Odeomu, Ejigbo, Iwo, Ayedire, Olaoluwa, Ilesa, Ife, Modakeke, Ibokun, Imbesi-file, Ijebu-Jesa, Esa-Oke, Ipetu and its environ.
The materials use in canvassing the electorate which shows the achievements of Governor Gboyega Oyetola within three and half years are printed in English and yoruba.
The door-to-door campaign is expected to run till the eve of the elections.
