Osun Govt. donates 500KVA transformer to Kajola Community in Osogbo

 

For a very long time, residents of Kajola Community in Ward 09 of Osogbo Local Government have been battling with epileptic power supply due to an old faulty transformer, which has been a source of electricity supply to the people of the area.

According to the people of the area, several efforts have been made to get the attention of the relevant authorities to supply the area with another transformer but such efforts have been unproductive.

The story of the people of the community changed today as the State of Osun Government under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola donated a 500KVA Transformer to Kajola Community in ward 09 of Osogbo Local Government to boost power supply, facilitated by the member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Osogbo State Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Public Works and Transport, Hon Engr Taofeek Olatunde Badamasi.

The transformer was delivered to the people of the area, by the facilitator of the project, Hon Badamasi, and the party supporters who are happy to witness such achievements.

The lawmaker said the donation was in fulfillment of the governor's electioneering promises and determination to bring unprecedented development to the constituency.

He assured constituents of more infrastructural projects, youth empowerment programs, and job opportunities, among others under the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

"In fulfillment of my commitment to my constituency, I just facilitated and installed a 500KVA transformer at kajola in Ward 09 Osogbo Local Government, sponsored by the State of Osun government.

" I want to assure you more infrastructural projects, youth empowerment programs, and job opportunities, among others, will be facilitated to the communities under my representation," He said.

The lawmaker applauded Senator Ajibola Basiru, Hon Adeoye Adelakun and Hon Olalekan Badmus on their efforts so far which yielded a good result.

The people of the area appreciated Governor Gboyega Oyetola and the lawmaker for the development, saying that he had represented and impacted positively on the constituency.

They explained that the area had been in darkness for a long, while efforts made by residents of the area had not yielded results.

They also promised to vote en masse for the re-election of Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Saturday, July 16th.
