The Osun Online Media Practitioners’ Association, OOMPA, has congratulated Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Governor-elect of Osun State.
We gathered that Senator Adeleke won the July 16 governorship election and will be sworn in as the 5th executive governor of the state by November 27.
In a statement issued and signed by the Chairman of OOMPA, Jare Ismahil Tiamiyu, and the Publicity Secretary, Comrade Bright Olorungbotemi, prayed to God to grant the governor-elect wisdom, knowledge, strength, and diplomacy to paddle the canoe of the State.
The association also pledged unalloyed support and unflinching cooperation with the government all in the task of moving Osun State forward and uplifting the state with accurate, developmental information and solution journalism.
“We shall be here not only to be the watchdog but also to be the pointer and amplifier of your developmental strides.”
OOMPA, however, wished the governor-elect the very best with sound health and a positive vision to excel in the herculean task before him to carry out developmental programs and people-oriented policies.
