This is to draw the attention of His Excellency, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, and the general public to the Plot by some set of greedy leaders of the party that An Acting Chairman will be appointed following the planned announcement of Prince Gboyega Famoodun as Ọba Elect in Igbajo land.
This is good news to us all especially sons and daughters of Igbajo land that we will have a King and it's Progress for our land and Prince Gboyega Famodun but At this crucial stage where the party is sitting on gunpowder, what we need as a party is a unifier and due process. We have every other executive of the party that is duly elected and we believe any of them is capable to take over the mantle of Leadership of the party not bringing on board a neutral person to saddle the affairs of the Party.
Recall that part of the reason we lost out in the just concluded Gubernatorial election is the state Leadership tussle, we cannot fold our arms and watch us lose everything again.
We, therefore, call on those concerned to put a stop to the Plan if there is any of such.
We also called the people's governor Gboyega Oyetola to intervene as the leader of the party in the state, the governor should not wait till when some leaders bring the party to the state of comatose before intervening.
We also use this medium to Call on Hon Sunday Akere who happens to be the current SA Political matter to the Governor to limit his activities within the party and focus more on his assigned duty as Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor, he should move far from the party activities as this has almost rendered the Party executives in the state useless. Everyone is aware he has been responsible for sending information out to the party members on behalf of the Party which is not his Duty as SA Political.
