The Otun Babaloja of Sasa Market Osogbo, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe has congratulated the newly sworn osun state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his inauguration ceremony today at the Osogbo city stadium.
This is contained in a statement made available to the newsmen in Osogbo, the State of Osun Capital on Sunday.
Ademola was declared the winner of the polls by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), defeating his closest rival, Ex-Governor Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress(APC) with 403,371 to 375,027 votes, while Rt Hon Lasun Yusuf of the Labour Party (LP) polled 2000 votes.
He applauded those who have served the state in the past from the Late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, Chief Bisi Akande, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Ogbeni Abdulrauf Aregbesola, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola who worked hard for the state till the expiration of his tenure on Saturday and the incumbent Governor Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke, all the above-mentioned governors did their best for the state during their tenure and he urged the newly swearing governor to do his best for the state.
He specially congratulated Senator Ademola Adeleke for his hard-fought victory and wished him well as he take the mantle of leadership of the state.
In the same vein, Kamarudeen appreciates the governor for appointing the former osogbo local government Chairman and ALGON Chairman, Hon. Teslim Igbalaye as the Secretary to the State Government described Igbalaye as a round peg in a round hole, he prayed to God to help him to succeed in the new office.
He also commend President Muhammadu Buhari on the face-lifting given to the Lagos/Ibadan expressway which help in the smooth passage of vehicles plying the road, he furthermore urged the president to find a lasting solution to the Federal Secretariat Osogbo. He applauded the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for working hand in hand with the president in securing the country through his office.
