A member of the Osun State House of Assembly Representing Osogbo State Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Works and Public Transport, Hon. Engr. Badamasi Taofeek Olatunde, has congratulated the good people of the Osogbo constituency, the State of Osun, and Nigerians for witnessing another celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
He urged the Nigerians especially residents of Osun, to use the Christmas period to rededicate themselves afresh to the service of the Almighty God.
Badamasi made this known today in his Christmas goodwill message, which is made available to idealplusgist.com in Osogbo, the state capital, said more than merry-making, the Nigerians Should reflect deeper on the humility that characterized the birth of Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of God’s promises concerning His birth.
“As the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ also symbolizes love and fulfillment of God’s promises, it has become more than ever necessary that not minding what anyone must have done to us, we must not stop being kind and dedicated to God.
“I want to use the occasion of this Christmas to urge all Nigerians irrespective of their religion to rededicate themselves afresh to the service of the Almighty God.
“Let us continue to show love to people around us bearing in mind that the Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide-open heart that thinks of others first,” Badamasi said. It
