Osun Amotekun arrests man for stealing in Church


Operatives of Osun Amotekun corps have arrested a man, Temitope Olojede, 41 years, for stealing items in Church at Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo.


He was arrested on Thursday after robbing a church at Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo, the operatives swing into action after receiving a distress call from the inhabitant of the area.


Confirming the arrest of the journalists on Thursday in Osogbo, the Osun Amotekun Corps Commander, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi clarified the arrested felon as a famed culprit who has been terrifying the residents of Ogo-Oluwa Area, Osogbo 


"Our men received a distress call from one of the residents of Ogo-Oluwa that a church was burgled and they need the attention of the operatives urgently to arrest the felon, they swing into action immediately and he was arrested after trying to circumvent the scene".


"During the investigation, he confessed to being in the act for a very long time and he has been stolen from the area and its environ". Adewinmbi asserted.


The criminal has been transferred to the police for subsequent interrogation and prosecution.
