The former Special Adviser to the immediate governor of Osun State, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola on Sports and Youth, Hon. Aremo Adegboyega Adelabu has appealed to the aggrieved members of the All Progressive Congress in the state to work for the unity of the party.
He made this known on Friday during his visit to G-15 in Sasa Market Osogbo, where he commended the group for hosting him to Iftar and discussed the matter arising in the State.
In his welcome address, the leader of the group, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe applauded the former aide to the immediate governor for attending the group iftar program and for being a good ambassador to Osogbo and for empowering those around him, he urged him not to relent in building the people.
He also encouraged him to talk to the immediate governor of the state, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola to find a lasting solution to the crisis rocking the All Progressive Congress which affected the party to be victorious in the last general election.
He prayed to Almighty God to continue to be with him.
In his response, the former aide to the governor, Hon. Aremo Adegboyega Adelabu commended the group for hosting him at the group iftar program and for their resilience in working for the unity of the party, he urged the aggrieved members of the party to work for the unity of the party rather than working for the downfall of the party.
He described the All Progressive Congress as a party that has a proven track record in good governance and the development of Nigeria.
"Our party All Progressive Congress has the vision and skills to take the country to the next level. The party has achieved greatly in the saddle of leadership in the State and the Country and it played out during the presidential election where the masses voted en mass for the party Candidate and the President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu despite the forces of the opposition in the country".
"Our party presents decent and skilled candidates that can make the dividend of democracy accessible to the masses during the just concluded elections". Adelabu asserted.
He promised to deliver the message sent to him by the group to the immediate governor of the state, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, and he promised that everything will be resolved in the due time.
He also advised the APC members not to relent in praying for the success of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in the supreme court because the governor has a good case in the Apex court.
