Tunde Akintade State Secretary on Sunday,April 23,2023 roles out the drums to commission the following projects:
* Renovation of the meeting Hall of Chiefs in the Palace of Ataoja of Osogboland
* Face lifting of the Fence of the Palace of Ataoja of Osogboland.
* Furnishing of the Kabiesi Ataoja office
* Installation of Solar light around Ataoja Palace,Lekuleja Market and Customary Court.
* Construction of pavement/walk way at Lekuleja Market.
* Inauguration of the Agboluaje Cooperative/Empowerment Scheme with a sum of #7.5 million Naira interest free loan
In his welcoming address, Asiwaju Akintade Olusegun, the Vice Chairman of the Group while welcoming dignitaries to the programme stated that the Osun Economic Development Team is aimed at giving back to the society and taking people out of poverty and contributing to Community Service Development. In the speech of the Team Chairman, Engr. Kayode Adegbulugbe appreciated His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji Olanipekun LAROYE II for giving the Team an opportunity of contributing their own towards the development of both human and infrastructural development of the society. He further enjoins the would be beneficiaries of the Empowerment Scheme to make a judicious utilisation of the Empowerment funds. Also,Prince Basiru Olalekan Hassan, the Osun State Coordinator and Project Manager gave kudos to the Ataoja of Osogboland for being a good father who is at all times committed to the overall growth and development of Osogboland and all sons and daughters of Osogboland. He noted that the Team primary objective is to lift people out of poverty and contribute to community development.
In his speech, His Royal Majesty (Oba) Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji Olanipekun LAROYE II commended Engr Kayode Adegbulugbe and his Team for their generosity and committment to Community development while he enjoins indigenes of the town to emulate the Osun Economic Development Team in having the heart of giving back to the society that made them. He prayed for the Team and assure them of his maximum support at all times. Lastly, he congratulated the beneficiaries of the Agboluaje Cooperative/Empowerment Scheme to make a good use of the fund.
